The Protagonist in my story

In my journey story called "Disappearing Act" the Protagonist is a twelve-year-old boy called Kevin. Kevin is a boy how wants the best for him and his sister Holly.

"I made twenty bucks,” page 15. Holly was impressed. Which he made from his job with Bumpy.

He can also be a curious man of learning how people do things. For example there was a lady dress up as the statue of liberty "Doesn't her right arm get tired, holding up that torch for hours?" page. 14. It was a fake arm on her shoulder. Her real arm was hidden under all her drapers.

The 2nd post of 7th grade.

In the book called "disappearing act" from the beginning to page 6.

Kevin and Holly are a brother and sister who are orphans, and they are going to travel from New Mexico to Venice, California, in this old beat up VW. They are doing all this because there is a man that is stalking them. They nick name him the Toad.

I choose this quote to describe their journey in the best way:

It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.

By Ursula K. Le Guin

I choose this quote because in the journey that Kevin and Holly are going on there will be a start and an end. The start is when they want to get away from the stalker. The end is when they get to Venice, California.

the name of my book

the book that i am reading is "disappearing me".

FINAL BLOGPOST OF THE YEAR

Dear Asher,

I am leaving to elsewhere. I must leave because I did like being here any more and the day of December would be a great operate to leave. Plus that they would kill Gabriel and I did want him to die. The Gabriel was like a brother to me.

I have learnt many things about snow and the hills that I would want to see the snow.

Would you of ever thought about going with me and Gabriel? Because we would love you to come with us. And there would be more freedom and not as many rules.

The giver or the receiver of memories told me that if I left then it would be chaos. This would be because there would be no one to ask question about what to do and the giver has given me most of the memories that wore important. The memories that I have gotten from the giver are important to them because it stores many questions to them about how they will live latter.

Being the receiver of memories thought me that there is more things on the outside of our community, which is another reason way left.

blog post #3( marking Brocks blogs 1 &2)

In blog post 2 you but a fare enough of vocabulary words. The words you and I wore mentioned a few times. The idea that you said the bad thing about lying first and then you went to the good thing about it after words.

In blog post 1 you talked about that you wanted to choose your job not someone else to do it which i thought was great. One sentence that was my favorite was the one were you said" I want to make my own choices in life and learn from my mistakes." URL. http://brockiskl.blogspot.com/. I found this interesting because you wanted to learn from yours and others mistakes. Making your own choices is a big part of life and you wanted to make it your own choices. The thing that could be improved was that you used many words like I and my.

blog post #2( Why does Jonas find the instruction about lying so disturbing?

Why does Jonas find the instruction about lying so disturbing?

Because he had grown up not to lie. It was a part of learning not to lie. In one way it is good that they can’t lie, because then the community can know if the citizens are telling the truth.

When he was a four he said that he was starving. His teacher corrected him and said that he was hungry. No one in the community was starving. Is would be a lie to say that you wore starving. The community once wanted the babymakers to try to make 4 babies instead of 3, but the giver said that they had to think that there would be more mouths to fill if everyone wouldn’t be starving.

No one in the community lied but Jonas has an idea that some parent’s are lying. So to find out if that was true he asks his dad if he loved him. His dad said that he loved him. Then his father said” Jonas. You, of all people. Precision of language, please.” Page 127. His father thought that it was inappropriate to ask some one if they loved you or the word love. The word love was a generalized word to use his mom said. Jonas liked the felling of love but he was confused about the word love. He has had the filling love for Fiona that is way he had to start taking the stirring pills. Which was lying to the rules. One day Jonas didn’t take the pills for four. He didn’t want to take the pills because he was curious on what the result would be not taking the pills. He started to have sexual feelings and was hoping he would be in a relationship with someone.

In this passage he lied “ Do you understand why it’s inappropriate to use a word like ‘love’?” mother asked. Jonas nodded. “Yes, thank you, I do,” he replied slowly. It was his first lie to his parents.” Page 127. This showed that it was his first lie and that he didn’t understood the in appropriates of the word love.

The End Has Come...

4. Finally, chose one of the 3 main characters and write how this character has changed during the course of the novel.

Will:

I think that Will changed when he and Henry and Beanpole wore in the red castle. Because in the begging he wanted to go to the White Mountain but now he wants to stay a the castle. He talked to Henry and Beanpole about giving the castle a chance to stay there. Will and Henry got in a fight. I suppose that Will’s attitude as changed in that Red Tower. I think that this is because he wants to stay with Eloise. I think that Will would have a good time in the castle but then he would need to get capped and he would detest. He would rather try to make it to the White Mountain, then to by at the castle. Plus in the Red Tower he would be allowed without Henry and Beanpole.
